· Work with you and your family to enable you to regain ability to carry out activities of daily living as independently as possible
· Offer intensive physiotherapy intervention and rehabilitation combined with information, advice and support to retain and improve function that can be self-managed longer term, thus reducing further risk to yourselves and your family
· Provide assessment, advice, rehabilitation and follow-up to people referred for physiotherapy

You should come see us if you:

· Have had a recent loss of function, strength or ability
· Have had a recent life changing medical event e.g. surgical procedure, relapse of a long-term condition, recurrent falls; or if you would like some intervention/advice to maintain safety, prevent further deterioration or re-injury
· Have recently lost skills or confidence in carrying out a particular task e.g. walking, playing sport, working, due to an injury or loss of function
· Need support to practice and regain confidence/function
· Have received a recent or long-term sports, occupational or socially related injury that has resulted in pain, swelling; and loss of strength, mobility and function

One of the most important aspects of physiotherapy treatment is exercise management. This basically involves being instructed in a suitable exercise programme to resolve the injury, prevent injury recurrence and further improve overall physical condition.
