On arrival at the hospital
When you arrive at the hospital, go the main reception where you will be directed to the Admissions area which is situated on the ground floor. You will be asked to complete the necessary forms, and if relevant, any insurance paperwork. We will help you with this. It is important you check that we have your correct details; you will be requested to verify this.
Once the forms are completed, you will be shown to your designated ward where the ward staff will help you to settle you in, discuss your medical condition, and explain the planned treatment and care. We do our upmost to make your admission as smooth as possible.
Before entering your room
We carry out a thorough inspection and cleaning process before you enter your room. Until this “hygiene review” is complete, we do not bring you to your room. With late discharges, this can sometimes result in a short delay. We do our best to minimise this and ask for your patience if it does occur.
