This Saturday March 12th Whitfield Clinic and the UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre at Whitfield will present an education day for general practitioners of the south east.
The event is free and open to all GPs interested but not the general public.
This is part of a series of events hosted and created by Whitfield in Waterford specifically for GPs where a specific topic is chosen and experts in the respective field present the most up to date information and clinical advice.
Registration takes place at 8.45am with start time 9.00am.
The schedule of speakers and topics are as follows;
- Mr. Ian Kelly- Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Topic: Common Knee Problems seen in General Practice.
- Mr. Gerry O’ Donoghue, Consultant General and Breast Cancer Surgeon. Topic: Breast, Endocrine, Skin and Melanoma Surgery
- Dr. Dayle Hacking, Consultant Radiation Oncologist Topic: Prostate Cancer- A Radiation Oncologist’s Perspective
- Mr. Paul Hegarty. Consultant Urologist Topic: Prostate Cancer- A Surgeon’s perspective
The Study Day ends at 12.30pm sharp with buffet lunch.
Invitations have been sent to all GP’s in the South East. On the day, both Whitfield and UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre will be providing information regarding their services.
