Ultrasonographer (Part-Time 21 hours)  

 

 This role includes provision of ultrasound service, proforma reporting and deliver the highest level of patient care.  Clinical experience and confidence is essential due to theindependent nature of this role.

 

The ideal candidate will;

 

·         Be DOHC Validated

·         Post Graduate Ultrasound qualification with 3 years post graduate experience

·         Have Abdominal and Pelvis Imaging, TV and small parts experience

·         Muskulaskeletal and Vascular Experience desirable

SENIOR MEDICAL SCIENTIST (Full-Time)  

    This role will deputise for the Laboratory Manager in their absence and will involve undertaking, on a daily basis, manual, semi-automated and fully automated laboratory investigations using a variety of analytical techniques for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients.  This role will involve quality and technical management.

    The ideal candidate will; 

    ·         Be AMLS accredited, hold an Honours degree in Biomedical Science or an AMLS approved equivalent.

    ·         Be Eligible for MAMLS or Eligible for membership of IBMS and HPC Registration.

    ·         Have at least 4 years relevant experience, post qualification, in a diagnostic Laboratory.

    ·         Have experience at management level.

    ·         Have experience of using a Pathology computer system
